    Hund's rule states: "when orbitals of equal energy are available, the electron configuration of lowest energy has the maximum number of unpaired electrons with parallel spins." What type of experiment can you develop that would demonstrate the validity of Hund's rule (i.e. that the electron spins are parallel)? Be sure to fully explain the experiment please.
