I recently found out that that the floor below the toilet was rotting due to a leaky toilet seal. I removed the tile, cement board and the rotten wood. I am now in the process of replacing everything. My question is do I need to cut the pvc flange off and start replumbing? I have included a picture...

Hi i'm looking for recommendations on how best to remove the integral test cap from my abs toilet flanges. I was intending to drill them out using a hole saw bit of the appropriate size. Flanges are installed & glued to drain line. Plumbing rough-in is approved and has been air pressure tested....

Removed toilet that leaked at base. Noticed that plastic mounting flange ibottom is 1/4 in above finished floor making top of flange about 5/8 aove finished floor. Is this why it eventuaslly leaked or is this no problem?

The floor around the drain is gone.the flange has nothing to screw into I can see through to the basement,. it seems part of the floor is gone . What can I do without placing a new floor?
