    Fees involved in buying a home
    If I buy a home and pay full cash amount, is there still a fee for passing papers, or how does that work... thank you

    Normally there is an additional fee for the appropriate deed paperwork, etc.

    OK, thank you very much, I'm sure that fee isn't 5 or 6 thousand like regular passing..

    This varies widely by area. Consult a local real estate broker or mortgage lender who can give you a better idea of what fees are involved in transferring ownership. There can be several costs involved in a home purchase beyond the cost of the home. Title search, appraisal, title insurance, transfer taxes, closing fees and more. While there are some costs that are related specifically to getting a mortgage, that you would save, there are others.
