I am scared. I have noticed a lot of pain in my vaginal area. And I now have sores and it burns to pee. I have even with my boyfriend for a year and we are sexually active, but we are 100% sure we were each others first. So there's no way it could be a sexually transmitted disease .

So you need to see a doctor so it can be diagnosed and treated properly. Chances are that it won't clear up on it's own and may even get worse.

Some infections don't require other partners, and there are other issues that can cause it.

You need to
1. not have sex until this is solved
2. you need to see a doctor to get this treated

As said above, some infections don't require sexual contact to get. The best bet is to go into your doctor and have it checked. Pain is the body's way of telling the brain there's something wrong in your body.
