Assalamwalaikum! I was going to be married to this Boy(arranged and then love and we are from the same place but reside in different countries) for sure. My father even replied to the proposal. We were very happy with each other and are compatible. He still wants to marry me. But recently when they did our Istikhaara(they did it from someone else with Quran) it came out very bad. It said very very bad things about me and that we will have a broken marriage after 4 years or so and what not. I am not a bad woman and do not wish bad for anyone Neither will I ever cheat on anyone but that Istikhara said so. Now they do not want their son to marry me. I did some mistakes (May Allah forgive me) before but not with bad intentions. I Just wanted to save the relationship but didn't know that it(my lies or me hiding things-but would have told him eventually but things came out in da open before I could tell him) was harming it. And I promised that I will not do it again. I learnt a lot from my mistakes the hard way and will not repeat it. Insha Allah! People do mistakes and they learn from it and so did I. I want to see everyone happy and live happily with my inlaws and husband which is انشاءالله if I get married. I want to know Is it valid or forbidden to do Istikhaara From Someoneelse with Quran? Can you give me Some proofs related to that and is the istekhara when done with quran or tasbeeh gives the accurate information? Or is it just what people created? This is like looking what's in the future which is not allowed right? I only believe the Sunnah of our Prophet (SAW) which is Praying two rakahs nafl and reciting the dua e istikhara And getting signs from Allah Subhana wa ta'ala. I did that twice when I came across this proposal last year if I should go ahead or no and I got positive signs. Please help me. I really need your help.Your response will be appreciated.
