    What's Texas law on moving a child out of state?
    I still have custody of my 15 yr old son and my ex is trying to run to California is this legal?

    Trying to run is not similar to Run away...
    A custody/visitation order may be changed at any time.
    If your ex runs without modification, then you have a case for contempt of the court.
