The firing order on a 90-93 accord as far as I have seen because I have a 92 accord is 1-3-4-2 the wires set from front of engine also the tdc can be checked by removing spark plug 1 and placing a long screw driver or the oil dipstick and checking to see whrn it stops. Also on the driveplate in frontbof the engine there are several marks. I believe it has to be aligned with the white mark. Unsure about the last part

The following is Generic, good for Most:
Have someone crank engine with cap removed to determine direction of rotation.
    Verify Firing Order.
If you use the dipstick in the plug hole to find TDC. You could be 180 degrees out, due to the fact you need to be TDC on Compression Stroke.
In that case, if it doesn't work, swap adjacent wires(if it was on exhause stroke, it will now be compression stroke), should work if you are close.
Why did you remove the distributor?
I would also buy the service manual if you like and plan to keep this car, It will save you money and Time, if you or someone else works on the car.
    Good Luck.

My 1991 Honda Accord EXR seems to have a problem with the torque converter not locking up. You can tell because at 100k the RPM is at about 3000rpm and once the car gets warmed up (about 1/2 hour of driving) the RPM drops to about 2600rpm and you can tell the converter is locked in. Any ideas of...
