My guy friend is currently going through a divorse, he got served his papers and now we are suck on the 20 day notice written answer. What does he need to do and where can I find a divorse attorney that has free consultation so we kind of know what to do and how to go about all of this so he don't get screwed!

A "free" meeting with an attorney is not going to tell you what to do, it will allow you to meet him and he will listen and tell you what type of case you have and what he can do for you if and when you hire him. If you are wanting free legal advice and services, check out your local legal aid department and see if they offer any services.

But he basically needs to respond to the motions presented and filed, if he agrees with all property division any support requests and the such, really there is little he has to do.

Chapter 802 is just Wisconsin's confusing way of saying what any lawyer in the country knows: if you get served with a summons, you have a certain amount of time (usually 20 days) in which to file an answer with the clerk of court. The answer must have (normally at the bottom) a "proof of service" by which you say that you have mailed a copy to the plaintiff's attorney.
