Hi, I was charged for theft under $5000 in Ontario Canada, and
I completed my diversion program and got my charge withdrawn.
However,my fingerprints are still in the system.
I know I will have problem going to states, but my question is,
What about other countries like asia?
Is there a certain countries who has right to deny my entry due to my fingerpriting
Being in the system? I need to know asap so
If anyone know the answer it would be much appreciated if you can answer my question.

Any country can keep you out for any reason they want to... But, having your fingerprints in the system isn't one of the reasons. They're interested in keeping CONVICTED criminals out. Apparently you AREN'T one of those, so I wouldn't worry. You can even visit me here in the good 'ole USA.

Your fingerprints being in a system has nothing to do with your ability to travel to other nations, no idea where that silly idea came from.

Fingerprint records are merely proof of ID to match up if they run those prints against another set of prints.

What keeps you out of other nations is the criminal records files, not fingerprint files.

Your fingerprints, along with billions of others, people who apply for jobs at schools, for people working with children and others. It is merely a ID data base.

So I can enter states as well?
Because at court, one of the lady who work there told me
I will have trouble entering U.S for sure and unsure about other
Countries so I was just wondering..

If your charges were withdrawn you can apply to have the records destroyed, and that will remove you from the system. It does take about 6-8 months, but you just have to contact the arresting police dept. and then they send a request to the RCMP (if you're from Canada). Once the RCMP approves the request, they will return all documents to your local police station and you will receive a date upon which they will be destroyed. Until this happens I would not try to go to the states, because once they pull up a file on you, it will remain in their system even after it's destroyed. So once it's destroyed there will be no record of it and you will have no problem travelling to the US. Hope that helps!
