    Heartbroken
I had been dating my fiancé for 1.5 yrs. We got engaged in September 2011. We've known each other for 22 yrs. But always remained friends only and kept in touch. When we started dating he told me that he always had a crush on me since we were 14 but I always overlooked him... anyways, my dress was bought, deposit was paid for everything, honeymoon booked and then suddenly he left.

His reasonings: he felt like he can't support me financially. His check has been getting garnished for child support. He just got a letter from the IRS about a garnishment, but, unfreaken believable is that he really needs a car and living with me and helping me maintain the bills is too much.

So he moved with his dad to have it easier and replace his car that was repo'ed. He told me paying his way at my house was taking to long. What should I think, I thought love conquers all? Remind you he's very passive and non-confrontational. But all he's use to is running... what about my dress and other funds I spent?

Put this man and his financial problems behind you and move on. He does not sound like the sort of person you want to spend a lifetime with. I know this is a difficult time but you will go through this. In due course you will look back at this with a different perspective. Take care!

I would sue him for at least 1/2 of the value of all the costs ( unless he had paid for it)
It sounds like he was having second thoughts and looked for an excuse

GOOD RIDDANCE, and small claims court. You will someday realize how lucky you are he decided to cut, and run.
