    Well pump electricity issues
    We have no water and my pump will not turn on. I replace the pressure box thing and the pressure gauge. I replaced the pump 4-5 years ago. Could it be the pump again. I checked the breakers and they are on. Help..

    Open up the control box. When you open a tap Are the contacts closed or open? Back to you, Tom

    Yes, check the pressure switch contacts, and power to and from the contacts. Also, does you pump have a control box. Pressure switch and control box are two completely different things. YOu will only have a control box if you have a three wire submersible pump. YOu will have a pressure switch on either a jet or submersible pump.
