[DIY2008]

Need some help with narrowing down possible problems on my 06 Dodge 3500 dually 4x4 diesel CC 6 speed. About a month ago and for a month my truck had a vibration at idle. Truck ran fine and had plenty of power. BTW no engine light. Took it to dealer and came back as needing 3 injectors. Tech said they were going out. I pulled all injectors and had them replace nozzles with 70hp tips. They also tested them. After installing them and bleeding air, the truck started but still vibrates at idle. Now I can hear what sounds like rocker arm chatter when going through the gears. However the chatter noise goes away half way through each gear. If I get on it produces the same results. I read in other sites it could be the dual mass flywheel. Any help from you guys before I start throwing money at it?

I, also, suspect the duel mass flywheel. They have been very problematic and are not known for lasting long. Some have failed in 25,000 miles. Look into Performance Clutch's solution for this problem; i.e. solid flywheel and re-engineered clutch.
