    Boyfriend threatens to kick me out
    My boyfriend threatens to kick me and my daughter out of the place we are renting. His name is on the lease but the landlord asked for my information also because I moved in after him. What are my rights? What can I do to protect myself? He pays the rent but I pay everything else, including groceries.

    You only have the right that he "kick you out" by affording you due process of law. In many areas this may be giving you a 30-day notice and then, if you are still there, suing you for eviction.
