    PC won't read certain CDs
    I have an old Compaq 5050 PC, and it reads cd's like music and games, but it won't read disks that I have burned to from a different computer.

    Scratch that, it reads burned cd disks but not disks with data on it.

    Look at quote, and it says E:\ is not acessible.
    Also, its windows 97, and the CD/DVD reader is Liteon CD-ROM LTN301.

    Are you sure it supports CD-R media? Googling didn't turn up much info about the drive and none of it indicated CD-R or CD-RW disc support.
