My father left my mother when I was 11 years old for another women, who is now my step-mother, and he left her pregnant with my, now, 6 year old sister. He wasn't there for her at all and I was the one who helped her make food and help around the house when needed to. When I turned 16 my mother met this guy named, Philip, and they got engauged. After a full year together he started to cheat on her and beat her making her start to take drugs. My mother died in a car accident about five or six months ago, and we were sent to our father who lives in Florida, all the way from New Jersey, and I have no respect for him what-so-ever. Marcie, my sister, is a afraid of him and he always yells at her for even the littlest of things. He has me sleeping in a garage and her sleeping in our tiny attic. I'm 17 now and I have money saved up for college, lots of it, and I have a lot more saved up for anything I may need. I can buy a house, a car, and anything to support Marcie and I. All I need to know is: how? I am in the process of being emancipated and I want to take full custody of her and move back to Jersey with the rest of my family. Can someone help me?

At 17, you cannot have custody of your sister. You will want to seek the help of local police and social/family services to intervene and remove her from the home if necessary, but she will not be placed in your care.
