    I go to a pre trail conference soon. What do u think will happen. I got charged with unlawful theft

    It depends on the judge. You could go to jail, you could get probation. Either way, you'll have to pay for what you've done in some way or another. It just depends on how lenient the judge is feeling that day.

    Never heard of a lawful theft, But your attorney and the DA talk, and they try to come up with a plea deal that you will accept. Most likely fines and probation if you don't have a long list of other crimes.

    Yeah a pre trail confrence usually in all causes that I have seen is canceled and then they set up a later trail date if they do go forward with a pre tail conference fr_chuck is right your attorney the da will talk try to strike a plea deal, however when it comes down to it the judge does not have to go by the exact agreement of the da its only a recommendation, 9-10 he does but there is always a chance they will add something extra of course you will if found guilty have to pay restiatution cost court cost and fines , sometimes court cost are removed if you can provide information of financial hardship.
