My sons mom has very very bad history of relationship. She now has 5 kids and 5 dads usually within a few months of the children being born she leaves there dads. She has also admitted to me that she was sexually absued as a child and was raped as a adult. I feel bad for what has happened to her but her actions and how she bounces from man to man concerns me about the well being emotionally for our son. I am taking our case back to court and I have done everyrhing the courts have asked me and then some. I went to substance abuse evaluation they found which I knew I had no issues I went to parenting classes anger management an counseling. She acts as if there is nothing wrong with her and I was with the woman for almost four years by the way her longest relationship even with being married twice and 40 years old now. I was just made aware that her oldest daughter was taken from her because her two nephew sexually assaulted her when she was little and her 14 year old who has a disability being delayed has been caught by the school Writing letters to little boys who are half her age talking about sex and as well told her dad the neighbor boy touched her.. All of which he mother denies, now the letters she can't deny because I was with her when this happened and the school suggest therapy and mom never followed threw with it. I am worrie with her past of sexuall abuse and being raped she is in so much denial that she will refuse to believe any of that has happened to her children and I'm worried what happens if something happens to our son if she doesn't get the help she needs and gets out of the stage of denial. Also the judge held against me that I am on disability having a knee replacement that I take perscribed meds, I tred telling the judge that she herself takes the same pain killers I take for her legs as well she takes anti anxiety meds and anti depression meds Zoloft. Further she has to take large doses of benedryl in order to fall asleep at nights. I made a poor decision of having a child with this woman but do not regret my son now it's my duty to protect him and I am not pretending I am me perfect just know that she has issues like every one of us do. So with all this being said how do I ask the judge to order her to go to counseling she has a great job with benefits and it would cost her $5 per session as that's the insurance we had when we were together and I went to therapy for my issues.

Yes I am I tried doing it without a attorney she had one I got screwed so I now hired a attorney.. The court order me to do substance abuse evaluation because she tried saying I abused drugs and they order parenting classes I did all them the substance abuse evaluation showed I had no problem and I was able to provide five years of drug testing monthly at my job as well.. I also went and did therapy and a pysc evaluation and when we went to court this last time it wa suppose to be just a hearing well this judge made us do a full on trial which I was not prepared for but her and her attorney seemed ready for it they had several witnesses I had none. I later found out that judge was her old attorney in another custody case. He didn't disclose this as well so my attirney reviewing all the court minute orders said I seems my due process was violated and we are filling a motion ti recuse this judge and his judgement based on bias and his connection to mom. So at the trial he refused to hear any of my court order evaluation and such because he said it was hear say... So I'm having a knee surgery next week after we have a support hearing my attirney is on vacation so I am asking to continue all that as well when I recover and all we are filling a motion to show just cause to change the custody order and support order the dang judge also told me which we have on the court reporter thing he sai no matter what I had said he had his mind made up before It started... Sorry for such a long detailed answer but I wanted to let you know the full situation so you could answer better... Also I am getting her old court files from when she was order to go to counseling and never did and lost her daughter because of it... Do I need to provide my attirney with reasoning to ask the judge I gues is the better question or can I just simply say that look at her five kids five dads and all the relationship she has been threw and let that be the reasoning why I feel she needs it... I mean all she did was just accuse me of drug abuse in mediation and that I didn't know how to take care of a baby and the courts order me to all those things! What you ask for is a parental evaluation. The basis being her stability. The courts like to keep siblings together so be sure to express your willingness to continue relationships. But ask for the desired changes. The evaluation is a private matter but you will get to see it. From there your attorney can mount a defense as to why there should be a custody change.
