Thanks for that Bluerose, very interesting.
Im also a very positive thinker and lucky person.
Sometimes I find it amazing how lucky I am and sometimes I believe it is also due to my positive thinking and thinking that all will be fine regardless.
Various things have happened to me over the years, losing objects(example I have lost my handbag 6 times in my life, twice at busy airports in busy bars and each time I have found it again, the last time it happened I was laughing and I thought to myself its OK I know I'm going to find it and someone had handed the bag into the bar, my friends think this is incredible , which it is actually.. )
I get things I want, things come easily.
But is this just coincidence? I don't know, I must check those books out..

Money is like the electricity mentioned -- it can be used for good or bad, your choice. Most people who don't have money don't realise its not inherently good. I grew up in one of the wealthiest communities in the US and saw that excess money ofter exaggerated the foibles of life while oddly suppressing its zest and those people were used to handling wealth too!
I can think of at least a half dozen things that are better at making one feel "rich" than money! LOL

rol,
I don't believe in coincidences or accidents. I believe everything happens for a reason. And that reason is because somewhere along the line we thought about it happening to us.
A lot of this is quite difficult for some people to accept but I have been working with this over thirty years and I swear to you more and more people are coming to understand it and accept it as a fact.
The sales of books on Self-Help and Cultivating Positive Thinking has been going through the roof. Just check the net.

Thanks for the link. I'm about two weeks into the law of attraction and all of sudden new law of attraction opportunities are being opened up to me. I viewed the site and I'll read it all in the next couple of days to a week.

Ok then. This is now getting weird. I had never heard of all this stuff you guys are talking about here (i.e. "The Secret", 'The Master Key System" etc) until i read this thread today. I found it interesting and decided to subscribe to reading it via the link that Bluerose gave above. I have been sent by email the first week of "The Master key System" just today
Anyway, whilst eating my lunch at work, as is do everyday, I went to smh.com.au which is Sydney's leading broadsheet newspapers online site to catch up on the news. Being a amle I started at the sport and then progressed to the other stories that interest me. Well guess what today, of all days, the most viewed article on the site is? Check the link out below.
Cosmic secret pays out earthly dollars for controversial guru - National
And you think your powerful Chuff because you get a good car park at the supermarket. My positive thinking (and advanced intelligence no doubt) has controlled the minds of the 6 million readers of this paper and have channeled them to finding out more about "The Secret". Get that into you!
I bet Jessica is on her way to my place as we speak!!
Im not lying either. This actually happened. I found it quite funny but also really freaky!

Thanks bluerose, I must start reading more about it, Thanks Teaching for putting the original question also, I have seen it everywhere recently also but have never bothered to look at it as I thought it was just a new "hype" but when ye all started talking about it here it got me thinking.
The more I think about it I am starting to find it weird also... that when I am positive positive things happen but when I start thinking bad things bad things happen(rewind to the engagement phase my thoughts were God I wish people would stop talking about the ceremony and dresses etc, this is starting to get on my nerves " and 2 weeks later boom ;-)
Hmm better keep to the positive thinking from now on :-)

It really has to do with what you have your filter set for... that article, Skell, would have still been there but you would not have noticed it or ascribed the significance to it you have. The world is a boggle-the-mind vast and varied garden from which we pick what we want. That goes for the weeds as well as the flowers. It is also influenced by what is planted too, again both weeds or flowers. I don't believe we are singular creators of our reality but rather co-creators and that many others are in the mix as well to a greater or lessor degree. This is why its very powerful and profitable to pay attention to what I am giving and receiving in the many many choices I make each day. Its not wise to allow this to happen whilst pratically asleep and yet I see many people every day who are asleep and therefore reckless participants in this co-creating process. You could say I am here helping on AMHD in order to wake some of them up! LOL

I feel like I have just entered a wormhole.. This thread is excellent!
I do agree that positive energy attracts positive outrcomes and negative energy attracts negative outcomes. People often follow patterns in life but I believe these patterns can be broken.

OK so yesterday decided to put this to action... in the form of "i am going to hear from my ex tomorrow" (bad I know but was supposed to be for fun ;-)
So yesterday sent lots of happy positve thoughts out into the universe.. decided to go out last night with my new "friends" even though staying at home seemed like a better option at the time, so had a fantastic time, laughing , dancing, and positive thinking about everything and thinking last year I was preparing for a wedding and here I am now sitting at the beach with people who are smoking joints and how different life was now.
I came home at 2am and again my ex crossed my mind so I began thinking no problem I will hear from him today and if I don't ah well single life is great.
So went home at lunch today and got a card from him in the post.
This is freaky...
The date of the postmark was the 22nd but it just arrived today from a town 30 minutes away.
Coincidence or factor of positive thinking?

Interesting, but I don't understand how that works. I'm all for positive thinking though... I think it is something beyond our understanding. Maybe we are in some kind of Matrix or something where everything is a false reality controlled by machines>>>?
Like the film..

One question though, if Chuff and Skell and me are all channeling positive thinking to get Jessica closer to us, how does one win the battle?

“One question though, if Chuff and Skell and me are all channelling positive thinking to get Jessica closer to us, how does one win the battle? ”
That will depend on which one of you believes in the possibility of it actually happening.
We bring to us that which we believe we deserve. Good and bad and I think that may be where Karma comes into the equation.
Oh, God! My head hurts! Lol

Okay.. I will have o find a way to throw Skell and Chuff off track but I suppose that would bring negative karma.. LOL
No.. I see your point and I believe Karma to play a huge part in what we are talking about here.
Some may disagree, I appreciate that.

The first lie any of us may believe in is that my personal best reality (ie, needs/wants) and your personal best reality (needs/wants) is in conflict or competition. When you begin to see some of the Truth of things here, that lie becomes harder and harder to believe. It is just not set up that way here. A few things are limited, yes, but not in the way you think. Who's to say any of you end up with Jessica when you have yet to factor in what Jessica wants? LOL This is not a matter of experiencing karma (either good or bad) but understanding karma and learning to trust the reasoning underneath it. :D

Val,
"You could say I am here helping on AMHD in order to wake some of them up!"
Same here. But I find myself in conflict over this sometimes. I don't want to preach. I think that is why I like this media - I can write what I believe but you don't have to read it. Kind of lets me off the hook. Understand?
I have posted this already but it explains why I agree with you, Val.
We are all in real need of a wake up call. It was once believed that everyone had their own path to follow, their own journey to make. And no one else could interfier with the process. But, for some reason, things seemd to have changed. There is a need in some of us to try to help others to 'see' how things really are. We are just far enough along the road where we can backtrack and try to pass on what we know to those who are struggling. We might have to pay a price for this, but we do it anyway. Because we believe that if we have the urge to do it, and we are faithfully following our path, then our journey must involve helping others along on their path.

I fully realise that how I got "here" took many kinds of people teaching me all kinds of lessons. So it is for everyone else too. It took those who taught me poorly, damaging me even and those who taught me well, who helped to heal the damage done by the others. That I learned was my choice. I honor everyone's choice to learn or refuse whatever their lesson is. So as long as I remain on the healing side of the equation, I think its all okay. The trick is to always know my intentions and should they become temporarily suspect, take a break until it passes. Those who I will not engage with think its me rejecting them when most likely its me feeling too unsure that I can maintain that necessary standard with them AND for us both.
I definitely hear you Bluerose, kindred spirit!
