I don't know how to live!
Well the title is true, I'm 22 years old. I wake up thinking about it, I go to sleep thinking about it, and sometime I get so upset about so many things. I'm scared; I’m scared of living and scared to do anything. Ever since I finished high school I lost all my confidents and I don't know how I get it back, I always try and just do it! But at the last minutes I change my mind and hide I still live with my mother which is driving me crazy but I'm afraid that I won't be able to live out in the real world.
The issues of:
What to do?
How to live?
How to afford to live?
What to do for the rest of my life?
All those things and many more scared :( me so much that I will start to cry and sometime lose it completely!!
And I don't want to feel like this anymore I hate it, I loved who I was I had great friends a great life and I want it back!
HELP PLEASE??

You just need a plan, Meg. You lack specific goals and a reasonable plan to get there. Look at what your high school friends have done for clues about how this all works. Maybe look them up and ask about how they are doing, to counteract how alone you are feeling in this. They will be happy to share, I bet.
I would suggest you visit with a local college or school to see what sort of options are available for more education. The reality is a high school education doesn't get you a well paying enough job to move out and live on your own in most places so more training is necessary. The counselors at the school can help you find your interests and steer you in a direction with a workable plan-- that is EXACTLY what they are there for. Its easier when you break it down into smaller steps for yourself.
Make two calls today -- one of an old high school friend, the other to a local school, and see what happens...

Make a plan, then take baby steps to achieve the goals you've set for yourself. Start with the little stuff first (like the calls Val suggested). Once you start achieving and conquering your goals, your confidence level will start to flourish and you WILL feel better about yourself.
We all start life out on our own with bumps in the road, it's normal because we're young and WE'VE NEVER DONE IT BEFORE... so it's very scary.
I was so happy to graduate high school, but almost had a panic attack when I was at collage signing up for my first classes. Then, after 2 years of study and a completed program, I was mortified to discover that my carrier choice was not my cup of tea.
I had some setbacks, but I kept on living each day one day at a time, always setting new goals.
It gets easier, you just have to take that first leap and you'll see that it wasn't so bad after all.

Was there something in particular that happened to knock you off your horse?

Meg,
Are you being treated for any illnesses? Are you on medication?
Hope you don't mind me asking.

Is there anything your inserested in? Go to college, you'll get that high school experience back. You could also look for a full time job... a lot less fun but you may not feel so lost and you'll have money to move out.
I would suggest going to college, you can take general classes the first year if you don't know what program to go into, think about it soon, most colleges start taking applications in March for the September semester.
