2002 Chevy Venture fuel and electrical issues
Have a 2002 Chevy Venture, have both fuel pump and electrical issues. Today I replaced the pump and the relay but I never hear the pump turn on. Connected the pump to a battery charger and I heard it turn on. Really tired of this and was wondering if I could just hot wire the pump with a switch, just to get it running again, only need to keep this van for a few more months. Anyon help?

If your fuel pump isn't operating properly there is likely a good reason.
Does it not even prime when the key is turned to the run position?

I just finished my hotwire of the pump. Hooked the hot to the fuse block, used the rear window wiper fuse (motor is dead and no longer used). Also ran a new ground from the battery terminal. Works like charm, test drove around the block a few times, took it to the gas station, no problems. Guess it was fix that worked for me. Hope this information can be useful to someone else. Good luck all!!

Sorry, didn't see your response earlier, so as I noted just a minute ago I hotwired the positive and ran a new ground. Runs great.
