    New fuel filter on 2002 chevy venture still no start?
    I have a 2002 chevy venture. Put new fuel pump in 7 mo ago now it has trouble starting. Replaced fuel filter, still need to spay starter fluid in throttle body to get started, once started in runs fine? Low pressure from fuel pump?

    Replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM), especially if you have over 120,000 miles on the vehicle. ICMs are problematic components. The fuel pump is likely fine, as long as you can hear it run when the ignition switch is turned to ON. 90%+ of all crank but won't start situations are electrical related, not fuel. Easy job--unplug coil packs from the ICM, replace ICM, and reinstall coils.
