    Plumbing
We are having a problem of a strong chemical smell coming up from the kitchen sink drain. We are not on a septic system. The smell is making me very nervous as it might be toxic. Could this be? The water drains from both sinks just fine. We checked the trap to make sure it was clean. We actually have to keep the plugs in the sink to keep the smell down. When we take the plugs out it is terrible. Could you possibly give me an answer to what this might be, and how we can aliminate this problem.

    Thank you
