    Fan light switch problems
I have a remote ceiling fan switch that doesn't allow the fixture to turn off completely . When I initiate the bottom turn off switch it will go completely out, but that is the only means of turning off the fan light

I am assuming that the bottom turn off button turns off everything and that you are trying to turn off the light with the dimmer button. Check instructions for the remote. Probably need to press the light button twice.
