    Oil for Hair
I am using oil for my hair everyday. But all the time oil does not get sucked up by my scalp or head as it should. It always remains in my hair. Due to which my hair does not get enough proteins and my hair remains dry after wash and becomes thin and thinner. If I put oil 8am in the morning, it stays the same way as it was in the morning. Kindly suggest me any products or any suggestions for this problem

It could be that the oil doesn't suit your hair. I'd once tried oiling my hair assuming that it prevents hair loss, but ended up with dry easily breakable hair after washing. Which I later realized was because I have to use excessive shampoo to get the oil out of my hair.

I switched to using conditioner regularly. And since then have soft, smooth hair.

Oiling once in a while is still good as it improves circulation and is relaxing too. But try oiling just your scalp instead of entire hair. Also for the oil to be better absorbed in the scalp use warm oil.

I personally oil my scalp once a month (or when I have a really terrible headache). I usually warm a bit of olive oil(cooking one, not hair oil) and massage it onto my scalp.
