    RJR Heat excahnger will not come on at times.
    Fan motor will not come on at times when I try to use the heat until I disconnect electrical cord at outlet for a few minutes, and then unit will re-program and fan motor will come on.

    Not savy with a RJR heat exchanger,, but if it has to be unplugged to reprogram I would think what ever that's getting programed would be the culprit,, does it have a curcuit/control board ?

Heat Pump Fan does not run at all times [ 2 Answers ]

I find sometimes that my heat pump interior unit is running but the fan on the compressor outside has stopped. It comes back on after a time. When the fan is not running the compressor outside continues to make noise. Is this normal or is there something wrong?
