We've been together for just over a month and we usually see each other three to four times a week. The past week though we haven't seen each other, on Friday night we had plans and he cancelled them saying that he was feeling tired so I accepted that and was fine about it. Then Saturday I was literally bed ridden because I was sick so told him I wouldn't be able to come out. Monday he skipped because he had a headache and was tired from working all day.
Then this morning I got a text from him saying 'We're over, I never see you and we never talk'. Which I don't get because we text all day, everyday and I phone him mostly every other day. Although I tried to call him after he texted, he wouldn't answer. So I texted we would have to both make more effort because I really do like him or at least see me and dump me face to face which he replied 'So you want me to come all the way there to dump you?' he lives like 20 minute drive away. Anyway we spoke and he said that he does like me but he doesn't know what to do. I said can we talk about it face to face tonight. Then he replied 'Plus we hardly ever have sex'. I lost my virginity to him couple of weeks, we've done it a few times since then which was in a hotel because he doesn't want to come over to meet my parents or me go over to his. I'm so frustrated and annoyed but I love him and wanted this to work as he is my first love. Am I being really stupid? Should I just quit trying? :(

*I'm 19 and his 25 by the way.

Are you sure this is the type of guy you want to be with if he doesn't respect you enough to break up with you face to face? I may be wrong, but it seems like most of your relationship is based on texting and there is no real communication.

You can try to see if he wants you back but I wouldn't dwell on this too long. The relationship was only a month long so there isn't a lot time investment. You're 19. There is plenty of time to meet the right guy who will respect you.

He may of taken your virginity, and he may be your first love, but the coward made no efforts and being with you, puts the blame on YOU, and then sent you a dump text. Naw, you leave him alone, and don't let this first love take any more advantage of you. And he will because you might be in love, but he isn't.

He got your virginity, make sure he gets no more, EVER!!

I think you are fooled by your boyfriend. May be he was just with you for his physical need and when he got that he left you. May be you love but he do not loves you. I think you also know this. Ask from your heart.

He dated you to have sex with you, he did that got he new over with and has moved on to a new girl. I hope you were on birth control and used protection or you may be dumped and pregnant.

He is right, what do you want him to do, drive over to your home to tell you off and dump you in person. Break ups don't work like TV movies, they hurt, are most times never nice.

You are dumped, most likely just used for sex, so accept it, get over it and move on.
