My wife and I only been married a few months but have been together for 3 years. She has a drinking problem where she can't stop drinking and she gets black out drunk. One night she never came home then she came home crying. She said she had to confess something. She told me a month before we got married she drank too much and she thinks she may have slept with some dude but don't know. Then that last night she had too much to drink and had slept with her friends cousin but she tells me that she don't know why she did it and only remembers bits and pieces. I have put my foot down and she is not allowed to drink anymore or I am leaving her. She begged me not to leave her. I am trying to get this out of my head but it hurts too much to do so. She says she loves me more than anything and don't want to lose me. Any help or suggestions please... hurt, confused, angry, and betrayed.

I think you have done right to address her drinking, and since she asked for your help, make sure she gets that help. May I suggest you BOTH get involved with Alcoholics Anonymous??

They can help you both to help each other heal from this very tricky situations, but the good new is its not an impossible thing once you have the tools, and knowledge behind you.
