Do I need to go see my OB-GYN?
I'm 18 years old having problems with my menstrual cycle. Ok, November 11, 2011, I had an emergency D&C done to remove a uterine polypse that was causing me to hemorrhage. The symptoms that I had were very heavy bleeding, slight pelvic pain, and bleeding that lasted for a duration of 14 days. After I had the procedure done things started to calm down. I was in and out of the hospital due to infections and was given antibiotics through an I.V. but my period was back to normal. Now, my period started January 1, 2012 and lasted till January 13, 2012 but then stopped. My period was very heavy with cramping. But January 16, 2012 it started back again, again with VERY heavy bleeding and severe pain but no cramps. I'm using super pads and they end up being soaked within 2-3 hours. I do have a OB-GYN but he is very busy and the only way I can see him is if it an emergency basis type situation. Is it possible I have another Polypse after having one removed three months ago?

I work in a hospital and had the opportunity to ask one of the Doctors about IUI's. He told me that washed or unwashed semen, which ever the patient preferred, would be inserted via catheter into the uterus. I thought it was not safe to inject unwashed semen. Is it?
