Details, I have a jet pump n my basement with two hoses going outside.The pump will continue to run unless I kill the breaker. The pressure will hold, unless I turn a tap on. So someone said It might be a foot valve that might be plugged. Now here is my question that I have no clue, I found my well...

I have a submersible pump set to cut in at 20 psi and cut out at 40psi. Recently something happened and I cannot get the pressure above 20 psi and thus the pumps stays 'on' all the time unless I turn off the circuit breaker. The pump has no trouble to get the pressure to 20 psi.What can I do?

I have a Myers jet pump with 2 lines coming out. The pump sits approx 20 feet high from the lake source with a 70 foot run to the lake. Pump kicks in at 20 and rises to 40-42 and will not shut off unless I manually do it and the pressure will hold constant at 40 until the water demand brings it...
In a 160 ft. Deep well with a submersible pump, pressure has gone from 60 to 45 psi

Water pressure began to degrade about 2 week ago the pump continued to run with pressure switch at 60PSI, reduced pressure switch to 55 ans it was OK, after 1 week pump could not achieve 55PSI. I dropped the pressure to 50PSI. It continues to degrade. Does this sound like a bad pump?

My pressure switch is shot. The points look to be burnt. I have filled them on several occasions and it continued to work. Now they doesn't seem to work, so I plan to replace the switch. Which size pressure switch do I need? 20/30, 20/40, 30/50 or 40/60 ? What determines the size switch?... View more questions Search
