Can't gain pressure past 25 psi in my well jet pump?
Details, I have a jet pump n my basement with two hoses going outside. The pump will continue to run unless I kill the breaker. The pressure will hold, unless I turn a tap on. So someone said It might be a foot valve that might be plugged. Now here is my question that I have no clue, I found my well that is underground ( yes I know it is suppose to be above ground) how do I pull up what I am suppose to pull up? I am clueless about this. Never seen it done but my brain is saying the hoses that go to my jet pump would prevent me from pulling anything up. Please help me learn how to get to the foot valve or venturi valve? Thank you

In a 160 ft. Deep well with a submersible pump, pressure has gone from 60 to 45 psi [ 5 Answers ]

Water pressure began to degrade about 2 week ago the pump continued to run with pressure switch at 60PSI, reduced pressure switch to 55 ans it was OK, after 1 week pump could not achieve 55PSI. I dropped the pressure to 50PSI. It continues to degrade. Does this sound like a bad pump?
