Me and my ex had been talking again and hanging out the last few months as if we were back together but without an official title. Well she goes back home from our university which is 8 hours away and when she comes back she is very distant and not really caring at all. Well she got on Facebook chat and told me that this guy she dated during the summer she wants to try again with. She said she just stopped talking to him because she thought me and her might still have something which probably made him sad. She said he treats her really good and likes him a lot. She is just about to go back there for a month to over holidays how convenient. She kept telling me everything I did wrong to that I didn't do enough to prove I loved her and I had opportunities to fix things but this is her mind made up and she isn't going to change it and said she is officially walking away. Well obviously I'm hurting now. Any words of encouragement or advice from people knowing their ex they used to hold is being held by someone else.

Man, that sucks.

To be honest, someone worth being with doesn't cause this much pain or play with people's hearts so flippantly. Reconnect to your life before her. Hang out with friends, don't contact her, do things she didn't like to do, and enjoy being with people who don't try to find things that are wrong with you. It will be natural to think about her and you don't need to reject the thoughts completely. Let them happen and then move on. Don't wallow, respect and take care of yourself.

If you really love her you need to tell her what is deep down in your heart and stop playing games.. You might just loose the love of your life.. Ask yourself what have you been doing that hurts her and fix what you are doing.. Go the extra mile and tell her how you really feel..

You were a safety zone she used till she decided to go back to him. You stop contact with her and learn to move on with your life.
