    How long do I have to replace ignition module before it goes out completely?
    My car shuts off automatically without warning. I drive a 98 honda accoed lx. I believe it to be the module. Wondering what kind do I need?

    Not long. Assuming you have the 4-cylinder engine, buy the JP126 igniter from AutoZone, $69.99. Apply silicone heat transfer grease to the back of the new igniter. It's best to replace the coil at the same time. Worn rotors and distributor caps often cause the igniters and coils to fail, so consider replacing them if they have not been changed in 60,000 miles.
