I was having major contractions and requested to be given an epidural to block the pain. The aneistelogoist who administered the procedure tried 5x before he got it right. The first time fluid came out and then blood... He hurriedly tried covering it up, trying to say that I may have scoliosis. I told the doctor that I was never diagnosed with this. After I gave birth to my healthy baby girl, I would have pain come in and out. I did not get the severe headaches as I was told may occur. Six weeks after giving birth, I felt more and more of the pain from my spine when lightly pressed on. Since then I had intense pressure in my lower back. What are some of my options in dealing with this?

What you experienced are very common side effects of the epidural.

Fluid and blood are also common when giving an epidural if the patient is not sitting very still in the proper position.

Unless there is permanent damage there is nothing you can do.

Please understand that I do assist with epidurals on a daily basis.

Is it normal to have this pain after 3 months?

It can be normal to have discomfort for as long as 6 months. Remember, this is an area of your body that is never subjected to outside influences. Since there was a needle and subsequent catheter introduced into the epidural space of the spinal column it will take some time for your body to recover.

I hope you get to feeling better soon. Just as a side note, when I had my second son (before I became a nurse), I had pain in that area for up to a year. Now, that was 25 years ago, but it's worth mentioning.
