    Heating Problems
I am having problems with the heating in my house. I have a Honeywell thermostat, and it will just shut off and not turn back on. It can get down to 40 degrees in the night, when I wake up I will mess with the thermostat and the heater will come back on. It will not hold the temperature. The temp will get up to what I have put it at and then shut off and not turn back on unless I mess with the thermostat. I have replaced the batteries, flipped the breaker, and nothing will make it hold the proper temperature. Any suggestions on what I should do? Any help would be great.
    Sincerely,
    Cold and annoyed

I have a very old GE gas furnace model # BLU080E924B1 that doesn't want to work on auto. Thermostat seems fine, but unit won't run unless I connect gas valve and blower directly. I installed a new relay, new fan/limit control and new transformer. I don't understand why it doesn't work on auto.
