There's this incredibly cute guy. I was friends with him last year and sat with him and all of our friends at lunch which was really fun. This year I barely see him but developed a little crush. He went out with my friend last year as a joke because I was convinced they liked each other and I'm really gullible, but she thought it was real at one point, even though he eventually told me it never was. He confessed to liking her in September.

Then, she told me he always talked about how funny I was etc, and she jokingly said he's "obsessed" with me and how he loves me, and she'd always add.. as a friend. I was thrilled cause I thought he'd at least want to hang out. So, I texted him and he answered quickly back and we had a couple really fun conversations with him starting it most times.

One day, I got the courage to text him saying I like him and he thought it was part of some plot with my friend. I found out later that he forwarded my friend the text! This is cause she texted me saying how she couldn't believe I told him, and of course he'd show her. That still isn't an excuse. I texted him later how hurt I was and he said he was sorry and didn't want to hurt me.

My friend kept acting like she was involved which got me so angry since she had nothing to do with it and this was all cause of him forwarding it! I looked on my friend's phone one day and he texted her saying how he was freaked out about me liking him. Does he think I'm gross or something? He always teases me about other guys so it seemed like he liked me too! I'm just so frustrated at how things have become! I just want to be friends with him again. HELP!

It seems it was a misunderstanding and I don't think your friend was accepting responsibility for it either. However that's now been cleared up by facts so don't worry about it, but do let them enjoy what they have without you getting in the middle. Your girl friend may be insecure, and jealous, and may not be as good a friend as you may think.

There are other better people to have fun with for now. Sorry.
