Installing a new water heater cannot get water hot?
No hot water - installed a new hot water heater - both hot and cold taps throughout the house are running cold water only. Pressure is good but no hot water.

Hey, that was my first question. Okay, then, is the gas, or electricity on? Is the pilot lit? Do you have power at the unit?

In regards to no hot water just cold in both taps *solution to problem - my husband found out a fuse blew, he caught this later as he had just put a new one in before installing the new water heater so didn't think that was the problem originally.

The original water heater that quit working blew the fuse and we replaced it and then it blew again without our knowledge before the new water heater was hooked up. Yes the water heater is working now Tom.
