    Goodman gas heaters for the home?
    How do I start the pilot light? The heater is newer model 3 years old. The fan comes on but doesn't appear to start the flames. Just blowing cool air

    No pilot light on this system it uses a hot surface ignitor. You have a limit switch open or a safety switch is not closing when it should. You should have light on the control board blinking(blower section door) It will flash out a code telling you what is wrong.
