    Mother cheating with co-pastor
I found out my mother is cheating on my dad with the co-pastor of our church. I stopped going to church about 4 years ago but went to this church for about 10 years. My parents relationship has always been very troublesome, about 2 months ago my dad had decided to go back to our country of origin but was convinced by the co-pastor of this church not to leave so he didn't. I'm not sure as to what to do. Any advices you could give me I'll really appreciate it. (I'm a 25 yrs. Old women).

Most of the people in the churches are hypocrites anyway. They say don't do something's then they are out there doing it themselves. U should call and anonymously report him for being a fraud.

Church is a hospital, a place for people who are sick and suffering, for sinners, not a museum for saints.

What evidence do you have? (I'm a preacher's kid, so I know how to advise you once I find out some details.)

I saw their skype conversations. They were very explicit... I haven't asked her directly... Will do so once I'm ready.

First please answer and direct your comments to the OP. Attacks of groups and other ideas are not related to this. A person, not a church is doing this.

And there are good and bad in any group, the bible is clear that till the last day there will be good and bad together.
We do not go to church for them or because of them, we do it for our benefit.

First how or why are you reading her phone messages ?
Are you living at home ?

At the most I would tell my mom I knew about it.
While it may hurt, people have affairs, people divorce and life goes on.

I suggest that's the next step: to talk with her about this. This sort of thing happened in my home church, and the pastor at fault was "defrocked" for x number of years so that he wouldn't be two-faced when ministering and preaching.

Would the other pastor take you seriously? (Usually one has to follow the hierarchy when reporting something -- start at the local level and then move to the district level, etc.)

Tell your mom what you found. At least she will know what you know, and maybe she will explain, maybe she won't. She may get mad but YOU have done nothing but what she asked and stumbled on her secret. Don't accuse or judge, just inform. And drop it. Her call what she does about it.
