    I have 2 ceiling lights and 1 of them has just gone off
    2 sitting rooms lights 2 switches and last night 1 just went off and 1 stayed on

    Could be splices in one of the lighting outlet boxes are failing, shorting, etc.

    If your not knowledgeable of working on wiring, hire an electrician to check out these fixtures and switches.
