I have just noticed that my cat has been sneezing an awful lot today, a friend has said that I should give her some crushed up paracetamol, is this safe, I haven't given my cat anything as yet as I don't think that paracetamol should be allowed for pets.:o

It will possibly cause the cat to have kidney problems I wouldn't give the cat anything with out a vets say so.

Can you not call a vet and ask for advice?

I have just checked with my brother in law he is a vet and said under no circumstance give the cat paracetamol if you are concerned the cat is ill then call your vet and get the animal seen.

Thank you for your answer. Will tell my friend that it is dangerous to give cats paraceetamol. I will take her to the vets in the morning,
