Any chance you can explain how and why it is 4 inches away from the wall? Post photos?

As long as it is supported properly lineally then should be no issue.

OK I am coming through a wall from outside and the fuse box is supported by 2 x 4 s with ply wood spanning the 2 x 4 s. this makes the fuse box 4 + inches from the wall I came through the wall with a 2 inch pvc conduit and used a 90 degree turn to go up into the bottom of the fuse box it looks a little unprofessional. There is no support on the vertical part of the conduit except the retaining nut on the conduit in the fuse box. I was thinking it would not pass like that and that I needed to remove the 2 x 4 support and fasten fuse box directly to the concrete block wall so I could use a bracket on the conduit.

Flexible conduit for service line? [ 2 Answers ]

I'm an owner-builder and am getting ready to run a service line to a house I'm building. Rather than deal with schedule 40, which doesn't allow much flex, I'd like to get some of the flexible conduit that the electric companies use. I'm figuring this is a 2 inch line. What is this material...
