I have merged your various medical questions.
I assume ( I am sorry if I am wrong) that this appears to be either homework or some issue other than personal illness.
If this is homework we do not do your homework, but will help you if you tell us what you think the answer is.
If this is not homework please explain who is ill and what the issues are?

It is not homework. My professor has given us permission to seek professional medical givers for answers for a research essay. The questions I am asking is what I want to put in this paper, my father has diabetes so I want to merge diabetes and homeostasis and the effects on the body and what happens when it is not maintained. I have researched and found a lot of information, but I can not find and understand the questions above to grasp a good explanation good enough for my paper. So any information will help. I hope I explained this well.

Then the best thing to do is go to your school library and do a literature search under the various topics. The database MedLine would be very helpful to locate abstracts and complete articles on these topics.
You mentioned professor and research essay, so yes, this is a form of homework.
Where have you researched? On the Internet?

I'm a librarian and am trying to help you.
Where have you done research so far? You will NOT find what you need for free on the Internet.
Many of your questions are easily answered in popular and medical literature. In order to access them, you must use certain databases available at a library that subscribes to them.

Thank you. Our library is very small, but I will see if they have that book. So far I've looked in my medical terminology and anatomy and physiology text books, and some research on a few medical websites. I really appreciate the information you have given me.

It's not a book. It's a medical journal article.
Your library will not have it. It will have to be faxed or mailed in from a larger, probably university, library that is attached to a medical school.
That's why I suggested that YOU look at the databases with a librarian. Then you can pick out which articles sound like the best possibilities for your essay. You might want to start with databases that list popular magazines that will have medical columns.
Of course, the librarian will also help you find CURRENT information in books you can check out and in reference books. You will need to take notes and even make copies of pages from books. Your project is much too big to simply copy and paste off the Internet.
And thanks for the "unhelpful."

And please, in the future, when someone is trying to help you, don't slap them with an "unhelpful" rating. Be patient and wait to find out how they are trying to help.

I am a registered nurse and I would like to help you, but what I need you to do is to answer your own questions first. Once you do that I would love to help you. However, the site rules prohibit us from doing your homework for you.
