    Good as any; better than some... for it's era. 1981 wasn't a banner year for many powertrain platforms.
    When you look at the price of something, think about all the money you're saving... to be spent later once systems on your new pride and joy begin failing, leaking, etc.
    Only you can decide if it's right for you.

    It is good in 81, assuming it is now 30 years old, it is still 30 years old and can have all types of issues
