    Kenmore ceiling fans?
We have a Kenmore ceiling fan that has an extension rod from the mounting plate on the ceiling to the fan. The ball that's in the part on the ceiling is making an awful noise because the fan is wobbling. Is there any way to take the rod out and just mount it flush with the ceiling?

Only if the fan is designed for a "close fit". Why not try to balance the blades. Make sure they are tight.
