F1 married student GA state tax?
    Hello,

I am an Indian citizen and residing in USA since Jan 2009. I am married and on F1 visa. My wife is on F2 visa.
I have filed my federal tax return (1040NR) based on "other married nonresident alien" option.

Q1. Now, when I submitted my GA tax return, shall I choose "Full Resident" or "Non-resident" option? I was residing in GA for whole year though. I am getting confused with resident/non-resident option in Federal Vs State taxes. And I was told by GA state tax agent (as usual they give different information every time) that I have to choose "full resident" option in GA state tax and also I need to change my Federal tax (since I cannot have two different statuses in Federal and State tax).

Q2. Since my wife is on F2 dependent visa, she is not earning any money in USA. She does not have SSN but has ITIN. Which category I need to file my state tax - "married filing separately" or "married filing joint".

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.
