Has my Mirena Coil stopped working?
I've had my Mirena Coil in for about 5-6 months now (first one I've had) and all is going fine. To start with I had no bleeding at all and my periods didn't cause any bleeding, but this week I started bleeding again, very lightly compared to a normal period but enough. I've been bleeding on and off for about 3-4 days and I was wondering if this meant the coil has stopped working? I don't know how to check for it either and wondered if anyone could help before going to the Doctors Monday to be sure?

I have not had a bleed since my coil was removed, nor did I have any with my coil, which I had in for 3 yrs. I had my coil fitted just after the birth of my 2nd child, who I breast fed up until a year ago. I have had intercourse twice since removal, the last week I have suffered from sore breasts....

I have a Kirkland Signature, by whirlpool Dryer that stopped heating and timer stopped working at the same time. What may have caused this?
