I've had my Mirena Coil in for about 5-6 months now (first one I've had) and all is going fine. To start with I had no bleeding at all and my periods didn't cause any bleeding, but this week I started bleeding again, very lightly compared to a normal period but enough. I've been bleeding on and off for about 3-4 days and I was wondering if this meant the coil has stopped working? I don't know how to check for it either and wondered if anyone could help before going to the Doctors Monday to be sure?
