Stop the sinks in the basement kitchen area from filling up when the washer drains
When the washer drains in the basement, the double sinks fill up with water and then immediately drain when the washer finishes the cycle. The water drains into the major drain . In the major drain there is a vertical pipe which empties into the major drain.

    Hi wild,

Your post is confusing. So in trying to answer this I will just be general. Sometimes you have sudsing action. This is when the soapy water which has more air in it bulds up on a change of direction fitting (trap). This slows down the draining of the waste water. Also the drain line from the laundry tray may be too small. I generally use 2" pipe to drain a washing machine, especially autoamtics because of the pump in them. I am assuming also you have the drain within code limits to the stack? Took long a line not properly graded can degrade the drains capacity to empty as quickly.if not, you should be within proper distance from a vent. If not you can add an air admittance valve after the trap.this will vent your drains if you are not within the proper code requirements.
