    Can I put a grease trap in my catch basin myself
    Lousy plumber told me a need a grease trap in my catch basin and wants 400 bucks. Can I buy one at a plumbers supply and do it myself?

    You sure can. But why would you need one on a catch basin? What else is going in there except rain water run off? Where does the catch basin drain off to? Septic system? City sewer? Dry well? What? Have you asked your local plumbing supply house for information and prices on grease traps? Good luck, Tom
