I lost in small claim and my insurance will pay before the due date... Is it going to effect my credit anyway ? State California... What can I do?

We had small car accident but my insurance company did not pay because they believed it's fraud and in the middle I lost the case plaintiff sued me I'm defendant... but I have to pay in one month I wonder if it will effect my credit even thought I will be the all amount in once ?

Your credit might be affected since a judgment will be noted. But since the judgment is not over a credit issue it may be minor.

Did your insurance company think the plaintiff was committing fraud? If so, show them the judgment and tell them to pay.

Yes my insurance reported plaintiff as fraud action to the NICB which he already had 8accident in couple years 3 fraud reports in the past that I showed to the judge... but it's not fair to me if insurance did not want to pay and because of their decision my credit will be demeged even my insurance pays it off?

He couldn't get money from my insurance and sue them with lawer but they (progressive) showed his record to the lawer and he dropped the case then he personally sued me but insurance did not provide me with evidence says why they didn't want to pay... and they didn't even right astimate about his car and whithout prooves I lost it even I had strong pictures showes that its not my fault

Again, your credit should not be affected more than minimally if at all.

I would try appealing the decision.

Agree, your insurance company was correct in not paying if it looked like fraud, the trouble is, who ever came to represent you from the insurance company in court did not do a good job at proving the case on fraud.

So yes you lost, and if the insurance company does not pay, you will have to.

Will it effect your credit, yes it will, How it is viewed will depend on at times individual companies. A judgement can even effect job searches, but should not be a issue if you explain it
